“I love that all the Birmingham sports teams are coming together to collect food items for our neighbors here in Birmingham. Glad we can help those who are struggling with food scarcity and bring awareness to the Community Food Bank of Central Alabama. They are a great organization who are helping with this issue year-round. It’s what we do off the field, rink, and court that really makes a difference. We need all the Stallions’ fans and Birmingham sports fans to come together and help us fill up a truckload of much-needed food items to donate during this holiday season,” said Birmingham Stallions Head Coach Skip Holtz.

“Giving back to the community that supports us is paramount to who we are as a team,” said Birmingham Squadron general manager Leslie Claybrook. “Partnering with the other local professional sports teams is something special to us as we continue to build here in the Magic City.”

“Legion FC’s focus in our first 5 years has always been about Pride, Passion, and Community. The BHAM 5 Food Drive is something that benefits all the folks who give as well as those that receive. Let’s ensure we make this event a great one for years to come,” said Tim Sullivan, SVP, Corporate Sales & Strategy.

“The Barons have always aimed to be active community partners and to be able to jointly work with all our Birmingham sports teams is quite a wonderful opportunity in having a unified goal and ultimately helping those in need,” said Jonathan Nelson, President & General Manager.

“The Bulls have had a wonderful relationship with CFOCA over the past few seasons. We are super excited to be working together work them and with all the pro sports organizations in Birmingham. It speaks volumes for the city that all the teams can work together for incredible cause that gives back to the community that has supported them for so many years,” said David Koonce, Vice President of Communications for the Birmingham Bulls.
