Star student-athletes are on the rise as winter and fall sports battle for our attention. After a weekend of cross country meets, football is the last fall sport on the table.
That leaves long distance runners, gridiron greats, and standouts on the soccer field. This week, we have three top ten finishers from the cross country state series meet. Preston Wright and Tay’juan Leslie-Farmer starred in their regional semifinal football games. Selvin Banegas Rodas led Belleview to an early undefeated record on the pitch.
